Hi guys, I am wanting your opinion on the set up I am thinking of getting. I will be installing Bilstein 5100 (2" setting) on the front, and am planning to use factory coils. Also, am planning to keep the rear factory suspension on the back but add a 1" black spacer. Would appreciate your opinions on the set up / ride quality. Thanks

No, I will not be going higher than 1" in the back which is why I wanted to go with budget-friendly block spacer. The changes will mainly be for aesthetic reasons which is why I was hoping the block spacer would make do - any major risks if I will be mainly highway driving? Thanks

1" in the rear isnt bad, and one day it will sag anyway and change the leaf pack.

It's not a perfect setup, but good value for a 2-1 lift. You'll be happy.

Im going to be doing something similar in the near future when I replace the tires. Already have the 5100s all around, just gonna raise up the front another notch and add the 1" blocks in the back.

@Shades_Of_Red What setting did you have your front Bilsteins at originally / what are you adjusting to?

I just bought some 265/75r16 and am hoping they don't look too small with the 2/1 lift. Let me know your feedback!

Currently on the 2nd notch and Im going to raise it to the 3rd notch. It will give 1 1/8" front lift and 1" in the back and then have 265/75/16 all terrain tires installed.

You could probably fit 285's on there with that lift and those wheels based on other tacomas Ive seen.

Yes bro. I went this route to keep oem look with off-road wheels. It’s been the big debate 285’s LOL. Staying like this for now Putting money were it’s needed right now. Getting a softtopper etc. for camping. I do love the look of 285’s. Imo With 265’s I’m not worried about cmc new upper control arms etc. For me I’m good with the 265’s

I did about the same 2 years ago and I am happy. 1.1" in front 1" block in rear. 5100's all around. 265/75-16 tires.
Rides a little stiffer, but not bad.

Hey guys thanks for the pics and input. I have decided on the 3rd or 4th setting on the Bilsteins on the front and the 1" block spacer on the back.

Are any of you running wheel spacers at all? Have been debating buying the 1.25" Spidertraxx.

Not sure if the stance will look alright on 265/75/16 if I leave it alone and don't go with spacers. Opinions?

Perfect thanks - Any recommendations on where to buy? The best deal I can find on Amazon is $180.00 CAD for 2 ($360.00 for a set of 4)

1" block in the back will be fine. Polar bears wont die and the rain forrest will still grow...contrary to what most on this forum beleive.

    Youll be fine OP

I just did the bilstein 6112 and the 5160s In the rear with a 1 inch block on my 17 Sport.. I had a first gen and originally did a block but then changed to an AAL. Didn’t bother doing it again. Rode like trash all for some height.. i will go the route of block and then change the entire leaf springs if I feel like it’s necessary.
