    i have a 2003 2.7 with a CAI and 305's.. i love the size/look of them but im thinking about getting 285/75.. would i have much more power?

    You're running a manual trans, I think you're fine running what you have to be honest. I guess it depends on what you plan to do with the truck most of the time...

    Do first gen 2.7's have less impact running bigger tires ?

    Seems like it from what I noticed.:confused:
    Honestly didn't notice a huge difference at all when I bumped up from 33"s to 35"s on stock gears. A little less power, but you could make up for that by getting the RPMs higher before shifting.

    Also noticed a smaller MPH window for good MPGs before it takes a nose dive.

    and the 305s i have now are MTs an ill be getting ATs so thatll help a lil

    90% on road.. will be off road a little more now, Deer season :infantry:
