Its Funny how all I have done has done Nothing to improve the Issue. I have had Zero time to deal with it lately. I will keep plugging away and figure it out.

Threw Code P0401. EGR Insufficient Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow. Had an Issue where the Vehicle Would Not Get over 30mph. Hitting the Gas made it worse. I Pulled over turned it off for 2 minutes and it Ran. It is getting Worse. Truck died on me Today

It's good you are fixing this issue. To me it would make more sense if it was excessive flow P0402. That would make sense as far as the hesitation issue goes because you could have been possibly flooding your intake with exhaust gas causing it to stumble.

But for insufficient flow, hmmm....So maybe you have a cracked hose, or another component in the EGR system that exposes a vacuum leak when the computer calls for the EGR to open the VSV. Another potential issue is the EGR temperature sensor. This sensor could be sending a false reading to the ECM causing all kinda of things to happen. There is a drawing from the FSM you should look at to better understand the issue, I'll try to get it for you.

VSV Bolt is being a Bastard...Replaced PCV Valve, Gromit, and Hose(Cracked). Replaced Vacuum Hoses to EGR except for 2 that Come off VSV. Once I Get that Bastard Loose I will replace those 2. I wont even Get into what I Had to Do when The Old Gromit fell into Valve Cover Ugh. Brittle as Hell. I am Also going to Clean the EGR Temp Sensor. The EGR Check Valve allows air through only 1 Direction.

You don't even know if the VSV is good or bad.

What is the difficulty? Can't you fit a socket on it?

Somethings definitely up with yours. I put a wrench on mine last night just to see how tight it was and I was able to take it off pretty easily.

Nice. Why don't you test the old vsv to see if it was working. Not hard to do at all.

Nice. Does the Valve hold seal? Is it clicking and changing states when you put 12 volts to it?

You mean the code is still popping up for P0401 or the overall hesitation isnt solved?
