Let the engine idle. Remove the hose from the EGR valve diaphragm. Apply vacuum directly to the ERG valve with a hand vacuum pump. The engine should stumble and die. If it does then you know the passages aren't blocked too much and the EGR valve works.

No Codes at all. Hesitation is Not Solved. But yet it Seems to be running Smoother overall. I will Check EGR Itself and EGR Temp sensor. This will get solved and everything I have replaced is for the Better. I want my Son to have something that Runs good for some time and not need to worry about it.

I Basically have to Shut it off at Stop Lights. If I do it will Run. If I let it Run at a Stop Light and acceleralte its Hesitates like Crazy. If I let it warm up in the Driveway it will heaitate when I pull away and accelerate. I am Not throwing and CEL's.

Damn. What was the diagnoses on the EGR? I'd seriously consider just blocking it off completely for troubleshooting sake.

I have not had a Chance to check the EGR Valve. Outside Temps are Not a Factor as it will hesitate regardless. And on the freeway if I drive about 20 minutes at steady speed and I Try to accelerate many times it will hesitate so I have to make very Steady and Slow adjustments to my Gas Pedal. Then when I get off freeway and come to a Stop it will Hesitate as soon as I hit the gas. Shut it off for a Few and it will be Ok for a little while. And Then I Shut it down at all Stop lights after that.

@Layzboy i was to lazy to read through all the pages lol. So maybe this has been addressed but worth a shot. Anyways i had a very bad hesitation when I stepped on the gas of my 2.7 and after many nights of troubleshooting turns out I had a bad plug wire. I’m not saying for sure that’s your problem, but when I changed my wires no more hesitation issue.

What Else to look at? I am Going to check Temp Sensor by EGR. Possible Idler Air Control Valve as Well. I have not thrown any new CEL's.

i know I'm beating a dead horse, but I don't want you to miss something. When you checked the EGR you just put vacuum on it and confirmed the engine died. Did you do any other checks? Did you put some vacuum on it listen to it stutter and then see if it comes back? What I'm getting at is possibly the EGR when activated hangs open a little long, or has trouble seating back again. Or possibly is just getting activated too often. Just some thoughts. Fuel pumps new we know that, did you check the regulator? Have you done a fuel pressure test at all? Checked your engine ground?

Really hoping its nothing like a cracked head or valve.
