You said you haven't checked fuel pressure. Could be a bad FPR. Also check ALL of your vacuum lines make sure there is no leak. At idle pop the hood and get yourself a can or 2 of flammable brake cleaner. start spraying around intake manifold and all vacuum lines. Perhaps you have a vacuum leak that is apparent only after it warms up. If you spray around and engine revvs up you have a vacuum leak there. just an idea. strongly suggest checking your fuel pressure.

I have not read through this whole thread but did read you used some fuel injection cleaner. Are you sure it's not dirty fuel injectors and would it be worth having them cleaned professionally? Are you using the original PCV? How does your air filter look? Rule out leaking head gasket? Positive no vacuum leaks? This could also be caused by a worn timing chain and camshaft lobes too.

I've heard of people having something along the lines of your hesitation problem on oldish vehicles be fixed with Techron complete fuel system cleaner. Sounds like your problem is a lot more serious, but after all you've bought and done, I think it's worth a shot to try out the fuel system cleaner that costs like 10 dollars at a local parts store.

Additionally, make sure your coolant is not too old, your water pump is working fine, and that your engine is in good condition (spark plugs, valve clearances, good compression, no coolant leaks), and no emissions leaks from both the engine area and fuel tank area(recommend a smoke test).

Also take a look at this video

I'm assuming the filter has been replaced already?

Yup my aftermarket pump went out after 1 year as well. It happens. That's why I was saying you should check fuel pressure. Glad you got it sorted.

No I Had Not replaced Fuel Filter Yet. It was on my list for sure. I'm getting the new fuel pump and a fuel filter replacement at the same time this time around.

Really interested to see if this is the fix. When I had my hesitation issue, the fuel pump and filter were the first thing I changed out as I thought my pressure was low. It went up some but ultimately wasn't the problem.

OEM Fuel Pump $338 through Camelback Toyota at a Discount. Rock Auto has a Denso Fuel Pump for $67. What am I Missing.

Denso may not be the OEM supplier. Toyota has had many suppliers for different fuel parts.

I have seen Huge Price variations with these Fuel Pumps. OEM Failed on me within 4 Months. Would the Denso be a good option compared to OEM?

I've had the Denso one in my truck for over a year now. Works great. The fact that yours failed so prematurely may be a sign of something else though. Blockages (FPR) causing the pump to overwork or poor circuitry to the pump etc.

I may go for the Denso Unit.
