Over sized tires, 3" magnaflow exhaust, more mods will be made
I have a manifold leak on my 99 Tacoma, its the 2.7.
Not sure if I should just order a new manifold from off line or take it to a shop and have them take care of it?
If I order one, any suggestions on what kind?
Any info would be great, thanks!!

Buy this part from Toyota of Dallas. Visit this website:

    Part # 17141-75080 Current price is $179.50

This is the stainless exhaust from the later model Tacomas with the 2.7 engine. It is like a mini header. The tubes are stainless, the flange is not, but you can get some ceramic paint from Advance Auto that will prevent the flange from rusting. If you have a stock '99 manifold put on it will just crack again. I have three Tacomas at the house. At one point all three had the cracked manifold.

Could be wishful thinking but I believe that my performance picked up a little after the install.

There is a good write up on this over at TTORA website:

Hello, I am new to this site. I have a 1998 Tacoma 4x4 with an automatic transmission and the 2.7 motor. My exhaust manifold is also cracked and I have seen some places where they claim that a modification might be necessary to the transmission dipstick to allow certain headers to work. Does anyone know if this header Part # 17141-75080 will work for my truck or will I need to modify the dipstick? And does anyone have a picture or advice on how to do that if I have to? Any help would be really appreciated.
