I have not attempted this yet but I will be pulling my tranny for a clutch job this weekend. It seems to me that if the tranny is out of the way I should have a clear shot at the fuel filter instead of the horror stories everyone else talks about.

Does anyone know if it is easier to get to while the tranny is out? Just curious before I do it, thanks.

Heh, it can't be any harder! I did an engine swap a little while ago, as soon as I saw the filter location I went and bought a new one whether it needed it or not. There was no way I was going to deal with it after the engine went in.

Thanks, I agree. I would like to have the perspective of someone who has seen the location with the tranny out, anyone?
