Hi all, I have a 96 Toyota Tacoma with a 2.7 4 cylinder. The problem I am having is that the truck will have a very hard time starting when its up to running temperature and been driving in the heat of the day for a while. The engine just cranks and cranks and might fire once in a while. This only happens after it has been running at temperature for a while then sits for about 20-30 minutes. It starts and runs fine when its cold. It also runs fine when its hot. If I let it sit for an hour or so, it start up like nothing ever happened. There are NO check engine lights and I have verified that it is NOT an ignition issue by checking for spark when this happens. Also, when I spray starting fluid into the intake when this happens it fires right up then keeps running fine. I hooked up a scanner and watched the live data also and the collant temp and intake temp sensors read normal values (190F, and 115F respectively). I have not checked fuel pressure but it seems logical to me that it cannot be bleeding down the pressure as it starts perfectly if I just wait til it cools down a bit. Any ideas?

Also I searched this whole forum and the other hot start scenarios do not have the same symptoms as mine. I have spark. And there is no flooded fuel smells. I know it is lacking fuel. Thanks
