i just put a pacesetter header on my first gen and it made a huge difference. i think it sounds alot better and i can defenetly feel a difference in power so it would probably do even more for the newer 2.7's but it was a total pain in the ass to install with out getting exhaust leaks.

x2 with the pain in the ass.

The downpipe ended up being just a centimeter longer than the old manifold's, and that led to the cat being rattled on the crossmember, which I bought a mount for, which led the cat to be pinched up at a weird angle, which led to a a leak, which led to me remounting, rebuying gaskets, applying gasket maker, etc. etc. SEVERAL times.

And to this day it's still leaking and throwing me a P0420 code.

I have DT headers. The only issuse I've had with them is if I step on the gas while the emissions air pump is runing, I sometimes get an error code about the air switching valve. Nothing is wrong with it, and the code goes away after a few days, but it's still anoying to see it.

I was recently looking over my engine compartment and decided to feel underneathe the exhaust manifold heat sheild. I was suprised to find tubes instead of a block of iron. I climbed underneath the truck and looked up to find something similar to a header.

I have been wanting to buy a header for my truck for a long time but now I see no point.
