There are quite a few threads regarding the 5-lug lifts. The search tool is your friend. I have the readylift and no problems at all. I upgraded the shocks and struts too.

Dont listen to the people who refer you to the camburg nightmare stories about spacer lifts either....they obviously destroyed their set ups doing extreme offroading not normal street driving or even slight trail riding, no way metal snaps like it did in the camburg horror stories....im getting the fat bob kit in a month, some friends have the ready lift and fat bobs they love it and after about a year and half two of them are still perfect with their rides, they also upgraded their struts/shocks, instead of using fatbobs shocks, they got the bilsteins all arond for us 5 luggers....here is the link for the 5 lugger bilsteins not bad price at all for all four!

In my buddies truck he did exactly what you did at first and noticed it was a stiffer ride but with any spacer lift its going to be stiffer plus adding the leaf in the back will make it stiffer as well, but after he replaced the stock struts and shocks it was like night and day in my opinion so thats what Im going to go with...stiffer is a small price to pay to lift these 5 lugs unless you go with the Total Chaos LT kit for 4 grand including the shocks from Fox...but that is about 13 times as expensive...def the way to go though for 4" of lift!

You know i asked that same question on here and no one had an answer but on his truck it didnt make it higher than what the lift called for, not sure if putting them on without and AAL and a front spacer would give lift, but i know his didnt get any higher than what the fat bobs kit said it would do

wait are you saying everyone who ran a spacer lift broke their shocks because of "extreme offroading"?

no no not at all, but did you see the pictures from the camburg site article?? They were fucking DESTROYED LOL there is no way that was just from driving on the street....it was like zeus came down and cock smacked their suspension....just saying i dont feel like that is a reliable source for people to say "spacer lifts are bad!" yea i can take pictures of people with their heads blown off but then can i turn around and say guns are bad? No its the context/situation/maker/terrain...there are too many tangibles...theres good and bad with everything

hahahaha but honestly man with the spacer lift its super easy to snap shocks, i snapped two, heres a pic of one. coming through a turn in some mud at like 5-7mph and there was a rut under water and the truck side slapped and bam broke, i was like wtf! its not that hard to break a shock with a spacer trust me, im not mobbing through whoops or jumping

True story i hear that bro that must have sucked hard! Playing devils advocate here but who knows what weakened that prior to that rut? Maybe nothing maybe the rut just did it...all im saying is for street strictly its def ok but if your going to offroad at all save up and get the TC LT kit!:D
