    Aloha,

Anyone have any input for how to check the crankshaft timing pulley teeth?

My OBD 2 sensor reads PO335 indicating something is wrong with the crankshaft position sensor system.

I have tested for resistance in the sensor, wiring harness and connector, and crankshaft position sensor installation so far. Next on the list is to check the crankshaft timing pulley teeth.

For anyone working on this issue, here is a file that outlines diagnosis for 2.7 L 2nd Gen Tacoma that I found in the forum.

About all you could do there is look through the opening where the sensor goes and see if the teeth are all intact and not bent or anything although it would be very unusual for the reluctor to get damaged.
