Have a hitch installed now. Ordered a Takonsha harness from etrailers.com and am really wanting opt7 redline triple tailgate light bar.

Any 3rd gen peeps have this setup? Looking for feedback prior to me buying the redlines.

Any tips on wiring in the Takonsha are appreciated too. Am wanting to utilize the oval trailer electronics "blank" on the back of her as well. Tips please...you have my many thanks.

would love a specific 4cylinder thread. after warranty done am gonna turbo it.

 

If you go with the triple light bar the size of it won't let you get to the spare tire I went with the slim version an offset it enough to get the spare down if I ever needed it

 

It still has rev light signal light and brake

 

I really like the look of the triple. Anyone able to squeeze it in a gen 3 and still have spare access?
That's the real question....

 

And still no answer. The triple is on its way to me.
Is it possible to lower the spare in another way if necessary?

Have the tailgate light installed. What I decided to do was one zip tie in the center and heavy duty double stick tape, approx 3 inches total per side.
This way I can remove the light and get to my spare.

I love the 2.7L. Great gas mileage for a 4x4 and plenty of power, IMO. Glad I didn't get the 6 cylinder.
