    There are those on TW that claim to get that with the V6, going uphill into a gale force wind towing an Escalade on a 20' flatbed with a full tank of gas and four adults in the cab.

    Don't swap out the stock street tires (245s) otherwise it tanks to about 19ish mpg. I went back to stock when I found a great deal on some take-offs

    not a real great test
    Enjoy your truck, don't stress the MPG's. Aside from watching speeds, maintaining it, and not adding all kinds of aftermarket insta shit, there isn't anything you can do about it.
