I have a 2011 regular cab 4x4 taco with the 2.7, I have searched all over for an exhaust kit to replace mine. I cannot find one for the regular cab taco. I did find the Gibson #618802 which is for the extended cab. My question is, will this work with shortening the mid pipe after the cat? Or if any of you have any other exhaust kit suggestions? Any info/help would be much appreciated.

Why not just get a muffler you like and take it to an exhaust shop? I did that with another car, and the made it just how I want it for $200

I thought about doing that, but the exhaust rear of the axle is looking kind of bad. Just wanted to see if i could find a S.S kit to replace from the cat back

I recommend Gibson Exhaust #18805. I have a regular cab & it was easy to install. It will give you a much louder rumble compared to stock (I like the sound).

You can find it on eBay.

@SighOn I was actually looking at that kit. You didn’t have too much hassle with it? I’d prolly go with the 618805 since it’s the stainless version. How is the drone in the cab? Appreciate the help!

It is loud compared to factory exhaust. It's what I preferred. Makes my little I4 seem to the ear that it's got some power. I don't think the neighborhood likes it.

I've had it on about a year and the muffler does have some corrosion on the edges. I hope I don't have to replace it every couple years. You can't beat stainless.
