I'm new to this site and I'm just looking for some advise. I have 2014 Tacoma regular cab 2.7 4X4. I'm looking to add some more pep to my and I have bought some add ons and I'm looking to see if I'm headed in the right direction and for some advice. I wanted to bump up some power in my little truck as well as get better mpg. I have bought a LCE headers and an Aero Turbine muffler. I was also looking into an CAI, but I have read on these forums that this year truck has Tacoma's version of an CAI and that it wouldn't be worth the money compared to the gain. I also read that with the muffler and headers and this CAI that's stock on the truck I should just drop in a K&N and see how it all performs together. So does any one have any suggestions or advise on if I should look for an aftermarket CAI or stay where I'm at on what I have bought already. And also I know if I wanted more power I should have bought a V6.... Thank you

I like the idea of a supercharger but the price is steep on those... maybe a couple more deployment's and I could afford that.. Thanks for the tip

urd makes a kit that can make a grand total of around 250hp (it may only be pre 09 models, seems like there are some wiring harness issues it the 10's and newer but could be gotten around with a little know how) but ur gonna be talkin serious $ and i think u would need engine management and that time. i also think that the trd charger is for the first gen 2.7 not the current model but i could be wrong. since ur an inline, u could prolly piece together a turbo kit for cheaper than a super charger kit, since there is prolly an exhaust manifold made by someone the is for a t/3 or t/4 turbo. also will need engine management but u could crank way more from a turbo than a S/C.

Ozboost makes a complete turbo kit with a garret turbo and an air to liquid intercooler for like 4200 shipped. Its a complete bolt in a fair.

Oh and it makes 278 HP at the wheels. I'm buying one for my 14 taco reg cab 4x4 soon.
