That setup is different than the one for our trucks. In the kit I have, the supercharger on the bottom passenger side of the engine. Um, let's see...

This is the best example of where it is that I could pull out of the instructions. The pipe with the red stripe is part of the bypass valve, so it's waaaay down there.

Yeah, please install it and take plenty of pics. Right now I'd kind of like to just see some pics of all the stuff, to get a better Idea what it contains.

But yeah put that thing on!

Can we get a video of before the supercharger acceleration and after. I would like to see the difference in acceleration.

You guys may want to be careful if you have an automatic they already run hot. About 180-190*F hot.

Got a manual, so no worries there;)

    STATUS UPDATE:

Taking a little longer than expected. A couple parts don't fit quiiiiiiite perfect due to a difference or two in countries, but nolthing that would scrap the project. If I can work around it, anyone esle can, haha.

This is the end of day two. Everything except one pipe and the oil cooler is installed. Assuming things go smoothly tomorrow, I should be done soon :)

Agreed, the right side of the engine bay looks pretty ghetto. I'd buy some turbo parts on ebay and reconfigure that a little. With the performance numbers though, I would probably consider this over my 4.0L swap into my Reg Cab 4x4 (when I finally buy one.....stupid outstanding recall)

I hate to burst bubbles here, but those who are expecting supercharger "whine" from a centrifugal supercharger are going to be disappointed. You only get that from a positive displacement blower. I have a centrifugal supercharger on my Civic. It basically sounds like a turbo. No whine, just lots of sucking, and blow off valve noises. At idle, it still blows through the blow off valve. Friends of mine have the Jackson Racing Roots Type Blowers, and they get crazy "whine" and tons of torque off the line. At the track, they have uncontrolable wheel spin launching under 2000rpm. With a centrifugal (like my Vortech) my boost builds with RPM....like a Turbo. So I have to launch around 3800-4000rpm with almost zero wheel spin. At the top of my gears (1, 2, & 3) my tires are breaking loose just before I up shift.

Anyways, don't mean to clutter up this thread. Just giving some info from my own experiences.

Uploaded a fitment walk-throughs to Youtube (these are videos John at Alpine requested; been in close contact with him throughout the installation process). All the hardware is installed. Tomorrow is priming the s/c oil, hooking up the piggy back, and hopefully turning it on without blowing anything up!

Don't know how to insert videos, so here's a link.
