So the other day I went to start my truck and it fired up and died and would not start again. It will turn over but would not fire. So I started troubleshooting and I noticed my 20 amp efi fuse was blown and kept blowing every time I turned the key. So I traced wires did not find a short. IUnplugged the 02 sensors and still will not fire. Took a multi meter checked all the cool pack and did a spark test and still nothing. Even replaced the fuel filter and spark plugs. It’s getting fuel kamiya will not start. Even gave it a shot of ether and still nothing.... any ideas would greatly be appreciated.

I installed a new radio in it but I already pulled it out to check for horrid wires and found nothing.

Yes I can smell the gas from trying to start it and I replaced the fuel filter.

I think your best bet is to recheck that wiring.

If EFI wire is blowing, you’ve got a short somewhere. Means you’re drawing more current than the rating of the EFI fuse. Definitely check your wiring. If this happened right after installing the radio, that would be my first suspect.

I had the same issue at one point with my 2.7 where I stalled the truck out right after starting it up and it would start after that. I'd leave the truck sit for a couple hoirs and shed fire right up like nothing happened
