OK guys. I have a 1996 Tacoma with the 2.7 I4. The motor is gone and I have been looking at acquiring a replacement. Been seeing a lot of ads for 4 port and 8 port engines. Questions:
    What is the difference?
Will they interchange if I do a complete engine swap (ie. no computer or hook up issues)?

Just read that thread and they claim they are not interchangeable, but looking at the picture its hard to see why not exactly, too bad.
