Prerunners are alot cheaper up here due to the 2WD. 2WD is pretty useless in this corner of the world.

I will. I'm leaning towards making a "sleeper" truck. Keep it looking as stock as possible but with internal/engine mods to make it more capable.

Too much compared to national averages but all things being equal, I got want I wanted and I'm happy with it.

    Thanks!

It's funny...my wife and friends loved the black rims and I was "meh". They looked alright but I liked the polished aluminium rims better. Now they've grow on me and I love 'em.

I would just stick with 0w20 but I'm sure others will chime in soon.

Thought I had posted mine but couldn't find it. 2014 base 4x4 5spd. Love it so far. Actually was going for a regular cab but glad I stepped up to the extra room.

I wanted some of the stuff that comes on the SR (i like those rims almost as much as I like the graphite TRDs) but...eh...maybe in time. There was no SR option in my state when I bought. Something about the web site only showing build configurations that are popular in your area.

Yeah, my dog likes to photobomb.

Hey, and I have a question...I want to get some TRD rims. I read up on that I need to do some fooling around with the TPMS to make it work but I need to tell the tire shop exactly what to do.
    1) will the TRD rims fit with the stock Dunlops?
    2) what exactly are the TPMS instructions? If I say "you need to rotate the sensor 180 degrees or use a strap kit" are they going to know what I'm talking about?

I have a line on some, thanks :) you could PM me with what you're asking for them, though...

Yeah, I know I don't need TPMS but since the truck only has 800 miles on it I'd like to have at least some driving fun with all the warning lights off. So if there's a way to make it work then I am all for it LOL

New member here.Hey guys im about a month or 2 away from a 2.7 tacoma 4x4.Theres shitty winters here and I want a little off road ride also.Any regret s with the access cab off road? Im really on the fence between the ac or reg cab! The ac is only 265lbs heavier is that real any difference? From what ive seen on here ac can hang.

I haven't had any issues with the access cab off road, but I haven't done any really serious crawling. Just a lot if mud and trails. Having a secure space behind the seats for stuff that I don't want to put in the bed, and the occasional 3rd person in the back seat for short trips makes it much more liveable though.

I have done a lot of serious offroading and this thing is a beast. A longer wheel base helps with vehicle stability off-road as well. This is one of the reason jeeps tend to roll over so often.
