Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I thought the same way, they aren't bad in the snow, but ice are awful. But what was the ultimate deciding factor for me was driving down a gravel road and a tiny pebble got lodged between the treads and I got a flat. 10 ply is the way to be up here, Montana is more gravel than pavement it seems like.

Nice! i just picked up a 2013 with the convenience package 4x4 5spd. I dont believe the SR5 is worth almost a $1,000 for chrome bumpers, temp gauge/ camera. Anyways, did you notice any changes in your MPG once you put the cap on?

Great color choice! Enjoy your AC 4x4. I love mine! I feel like a teenager again when I am behind the wheel and going off road!

Thanks, it's really not a color I've seen more than a couple of times.
I was looking at used Tacoma's before I decided to go new, every other Tacoma was silver on all dealer's lots. This one is different.

The tires have yet to see dirt, Long Island is very populated we have almost no undeveloped land, the little there is isn't 4x4 friendly.

I also went with the convenience package over the SR5 for the same reason.
No change in MPGs with the shell, but I do loose 1 to 2 when I put on the 255/85/16 BFG KM2s.

Almost 20K on Taco, around 19K with shell (bought slightly used so I don't know how many total miles on shell). No issues & have taken it off road every time I went.

Thanks, love the lift and big wheels/tire on your's, It looks great!

I liked the Pyrite when I saw it with the Toyota build it site, but wasn't sure. When I saw it the first time sitting in the back lot at the dealer in person I liked it even more. It's a color I've only seen on a few trucks.

Thanks! Took a little wile for the dealer to locate a pyrite with the specs I wanted but it was worth it. Don't think I'll ever get rid of her.
