What is your opinion of the at3 245 75?
I have read a few folks here saying that they gained 3/4 to an inch diameter with the l/t c rated tire. The dunlops measure at 29" on the truck. The cooper site, says at3's are 30.5 diameter at 245 75 and 31.61 diameter 265 75...when holding a tape measure, it looks like a huge difference...even guessing where it will be at mounted with weight of truck. If i had the 6cyl i wouldnt think twice, but w the 4, that just seems like a much bigger diameter to be spinning. I am contemplating the 245 vs the 265 also.

    Hey TKyota
I actually decided to go with a 265 75 16 cooper at3 since they only weight 40 lbs each instead of a e rated tire at 55lbs. I was running 245 75 16 Cooper AT3s. And the weighed in at 36 lbs each so only a 4 lb difference and I couldn't be happier with the bigger tires. Got them for 604-100-70 mail in rebate so I got them for 434 shipped to my door!!!

In my opinion it looks so much better and raised the truck up .75". The measurement from the ground to the bottom of the inner front fender well was 33.75" before on the 245s and now it's 34.5" on the 265s. Less stuff to hit your oem mud flaps on lol!!!!

Thanks for the info, especially on the weight difference. Yeah esthetically the 265s fit the truck better.
If the tire companies listed the weight, it would help alot. My friend just got michelin ms2 on a full size american truck, c rated and he tows a camper. He had negative things to say about e rated tires, the ride and saying they are hard on the suspension. Yet alot of folks here like them..,specifically w the st maxx. Its confusing because even w the cooper atw, all but 2 sizes are e rated.
Again thanks for the information and photos.

    Thanks,

Good info about the axle and trans ratios. I personally like it.
I will honestly say if I was in a position to trade I probably would if I could order a Utility Package and get the 4-cyl, 6-spd auto for wifey
and have the new projection headlights.

But me and my 2015 are just getting started. Gonna ride this one out and see what becomes of her.

BTW, anyone of you have thoughts or info regarding Rhino versus Line-X?

I am really close to getting the lid on my Toyota large cargo box done in either. Thing is the Rhino guy wasn't really interested in coming out and even looking at it and quoted 125. I called the Line-X guy and he was mush more friendly over the phone and encouraged me to come check out his shop and he only quoted me 65!!!!

This box lid is what I'm thinking about doing? I am just getting tired of trying to keep the aluminum clean on it.

I think that dash is pretty ugly. The exterior is ok, I like the 12-15 more though. And as long as there is a vehicle left driving around that has a stick shift and a clutch, I won't own an auto. I've never owned one and don't even like to drive them. A stick shift is an "auto" to me

I'll be honest I do wanna test drive a 6-spd V-6 just for the heck of it,
Not a new one, I have a buddy at church with a 6-spd Access Cab, I am curious what the difference will feel like.

Drove one before picking up my AC...not impressed.
You aren't in 1st for very long and 2nd isn't quite low enough to bypass 1st.
