When I first got mine. 2012 SR5 MT. Bought from my grandpa in 2016 with 6K on the odometer.

And more recently: With a toytec lift, Custom (but still very basic) sliders, LCE header, 33's on Procomp Wheels, and my locking tonneau I wouldn't ever go camping without. My ECGS assembled third member and clamshell with 4.88 gears in them will be here next week. Realized I didn't have any pictures after all my mods, so I had to go take one! the last couple months have been a busy (and expensive)...

Took this truck around the country on a 6500 mile road trip in 2018. This and SO many camping trips, and small off roading adventures. With the lift, tires, and gears I plan on getting out a lot more soon!

Looking to install hitch on my new 2020. Need advice on how to do it. There’s the plug on the bumper but looks like I need to install something in there.

I bought the Curt hitch and wiring harness. Straight forward DIY. Fishing a couple of bolts is tricky but can be done with patience. Ive been happy with it for a years or more.

Anyone re gear with a lift? I’m getting a 2 and 3/4 lift and I’m hearing that maybe I want to re gear. Is there anyone that knows how much it would be and maybe even if I need to. Will it damage my truck to lift with no re gear if I go up to 31+ inch tires?

This thing has taken me so many places over the years. 4cyl 5 speed. The cap is the perfect last minute camping apparatus. Oops didn’t realize I already posted in here! Enjoy it anyway lol

They technically are here, too. This particular brand does a great job of not appearing to be tinted at nighttime. They are very bright.

These finally happened!!! even my wife likes em! And she IS NOT a car person at all, lol...

Before, 16x7 1st Gen Tundra TRD rims, with 265/75/R16 SL Hankooks.

After is a factory FJ steelies, 17x7.5 with 255/75/R17 C-Ply KMs, all new Jeep Rubicon spare tires.

The powder coater media blasted the wheels and turns out he powder coats an epoxy finish on steel wheels first to protect them, then powder coats the color.
Just aluminum wheels he can powder coat your color the first time.

Anyone in WNC need an awesome powder coater PM me and I’ll share his company info.

Turns out the ole 2.7 with manual transmission doesn’t mind the extra weight at all.
I’m looking forward to putting a couple tanks worth of gas through it to see what differences the ScanGuage tells me.

Also keep in mind I have a 2018 TRD OR front sway, front shocks and springs, and rear shocks on my truck, turns out a 3rd Gen OR front suspension lifts your 4-cyl front end over an inch.

Now all I need is to install my 1” blocks in the rear (I know I know) just get an AAL!
And an AluCab canopy top. I want to take the truck back to Ocracoke so bad with one of the 270” awnings and the canopy over the bed. But funds don’t allow it YET!

Holy smokes she really likes those little tapered 1 inch spacers, I got them from low range off road.

I had Discount Tire install their universal TPMS units in the Tundra wheels when I got them.

I’m going to call them tomorrow and see what the cost will be to have them swap them out for me.

Guess I’ll be selling them eventually, haven’t made a concrete decision yet. I do know I’m loving the 17s though.

I need to find a 17” single for a spare as I have one last KM in 255 to be used as a spare,

I have a 1st Gen Tacoma spare steelie with a new Hankook on it so it’ll be a set of five if/when I sell them.

Small community it seems, though I’ve come to learn 4 cylinder owners tend to be a bit more creative
