I am hoping someone can help me out. I am confused about the location of the fill/drain plugs on the 5 speed manual transmission in my 2009 2.7L Access Cab 4x4. The information I have read indicates the plugs are on the drivers side but mine appear to be on the passengers side. I can see a plug near the bottom that takes a 24mm socket and on the same side, up high there looks like a plug that should take a hex key??
The only plug I see on the drivers side is a 24mm in the middle of the transmission. The drain plug seems obvious but I am unsure of the fill plug. If someone can confirm the location of the fill/drain plugs on my truck, it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The 24mm plug in the middle on the driver's side is your fill.

    BamaToy,

Thank you, that is good news. The other plug did not look fun to get at.
