Not many people commute? Good for MPG cuz engine spends most of its time fully warmed up, which is better. I have a long commute. I have seen over 34 MPG a few times, with some mild hypermiling. My commute has lots of hills; I could probably do better if there was not. Only mods are an LCE header and Flowmaster muffler.

Haha! Is that for me? Sorry, my MPG is true. I record the gallons every time I fill up and calc the MPG. I don't always get 34+ MPG, just when I really, really try.

    Haha, thanks Greg!

Below is part of my fuel log.

A really cool feature of our engines is that if you are coasting in gear and the engine is above about 1200 RPM, the injectors cuff off. No gas is used! Part of my commute is very hilly. On the downhills, I coast in 5th. If the hill is not steep enough to maintain speed in gear, I coast in N. This must help MPG.

2015 double cab 4cyl prerunner. 360 on ODO when I filled up with 18.2 gal. By my calculations that's 20.2 mpg. I'm happy with it. I won't be mad if someone calls me on my calculations; I started drinking at 3pm and I could be wrong!

Since I've been in louisana working I've lost about 2-3 mpg around town these holds ate killing me coastal georgia and its flatness really helped in the mpg dept.

Holy crap! Some get 16, others 34. I'm somewhere in between at 20.767 mpg (from my last fill up). I tried driving aggressively this last tank of gas. About 85% of my miles are on the freeway, going at 75-90 mph. I down shifted to engine brake as much as I could.

My truck: 2013 AC 2.7L 4x4 M/T with roll up cover as an only add-on, everything else is stock.

I feel bad for the 16s, and I'm wondering why my truck hasn't seen the 30s, ever.

Gas light came on for about 3 miles. Needle was buried.

2001, Double Cab, Prerunner. 2.7L. AT

    Filled it with 15.7 gallons.

60% highway (70mph), 40% city driving. AC on 90% of time. Lots of highway grade=eats up MPG

    Got 21.7MPG

On my fourth fill-up and got a 26.4 mpg for the last. Will be doing a 95% highway trip this weekend, so fingers crossed I can get it near the 30 mpg mark.
