I was thinking about putting 2 JL 8w1v2 on my DCSB. I found some online for $89 a piece. Good deal? Only reason I wanted 2 8" than one 10" is because I think 2 8s look better. Lol or I could also go with 2 10s.. but do you guys think thats a good deal?

The 2 8" will give you a good sound and it's a good deal if it's what you like. The sound quality from it will depends on how you will use it. Using 2 8" against 1 10" is different. Using 2 will give you a more louder and deeper bass due to 2 sub against 1 10" sub.

Will you actually get deeper bass from 2 8" subs vs. 1 10"?

I went with a single 10 because I like the depth of the bass better than the 8" subs I have heard, but it is still fast enough to be tight sounding (compared to 12" or 15" subs). I will agree that 2 8's are LOUDER, but that they have a higher frequency response peak. My single 10 can give me more than enough bass though to sound good.

As for the JL's, that isn't a bad price. Onlinecarstereo.com sells them for that price right now new.

It's all about the box you build. 2 8" inch JL's in a sealed box will sound great for full sound.
