I saw someones build and they had 2 shackles hanging out of the open spot in the TRD skidplate. I know alot of people have the passenger shackle/shackle mount, but is there a mount for the driver side so you can have 2 up front? Just trying to figure out how to hang 2 so they look symmetrical. I doubt I would really going to use them for recovery methods, but just thought they look nice and its something different for the front end. Anyone know how to do this? Do they actually make a mount for the driver side that would line up with the TRD skid plate holes?

Hope this user doesn't mind that I post a pic of their truck.. heres is the link.

Short of cutting off the tie-down loop and welding on another d-ring bracket, don't really know. Did you contact the user that posted the picture?

That's pretty cool! Pricy though. Could be an option.

Made my own a while back. Had to cut off the driver-side tow loop. Welded in, nice and strong

Damn... That's what I want right there. Wish I could weld/owned a welder.

Wish there was an easy bolt on option that would fit between the skid holes.

This is awesome. Got any more info about what you welded them to? Probably wouldn't be too hard to find a local weld shop to do this for me...

Look how loose that shackle is on the mount in the second picture. The truck pictures are of the actual Matt123 shackle mount. The one this seller is selling is not the one pictured on the truck in his auction.

I figure some pics were reused but are you sure which ones? I see the one with Matt123 TRD skid but the other truck doesn't look to be his product. Anyway have a look at many of the aftermarket bumpers out there, lots of shackle mounts are of similar thickness and do the same exact thing, which is why people sell spacers so the shackle sits better if you so desire.

Feel free to compare the eBay knockoff with bpfabrication but the width on the mount looks about the same. Either way I'd rather spend $60 less on a bent piece of steel. Fully anodized suped-up rear hitch recovery shackle units sell for less than $100

    All the time!!!
Just check and see If you've got a machine shop, or welding shop around you, make a copy of the picture of what you want, and see what they would charge you to make them, it never hurts to ask!

You're right. Only the last picture is of the bpfabrications mount. The others are running washers. Not trying to argue which is better. I do have the bpfabrications mount and skid plate myself, but I only paid $200 for both

I think I plan on it but was just looking for a bit more information about how he welded them on - more information to tell the shop. I like this idea a lot more than the Mobtown recover bar. Saves me 45 lbs on the front of the truck and tearing the entire front end off for install.

    Link to these?

I'll admit, I bought a BP mount a year ago - and probably paid too much for it. Although it is considerably more beefy than the stock mount. But I don't keep a shackle on it because it's too loose and flops around.

    Or this
    http://www.morris4x4center.com/spacer-set-2-2546r2.html?gclid=CNbjqIKx38kCFdgagQodPl8AMw

If you search up "shackle spacer" you should be able to find some more out there, maybe from other shops, I'd never heard of the 2 above online stores.

I have two sets for sale, 60$ shipped for new, free for the ones I'm cutting off to install my new DeMello plate bumper- just cover shipping. I tell everyone who wants them the same thing, decoration only, designed to LOOK badass only! But I've recovered with them several times and they're pretty beefy. First two gets them, not planning on doing any more of them, at this price at least.
