My Current 1st gen 98 is awaiting final buyback approval and I am looking at the 2nd Gen Tacomas. What kind of gas mileage are you guys getting out of your 4.0 L V6 4WD crew cab with automatics? What are the pros and cons of these same Trucks?

I'm averaging about 17 or 18 in mixed driving. Closer to 20 on they highway. No issues for me other than it's long and can be a challenge to park in some situations but with the backup camera it's not a big problem.

I regularly get 22-23 with 60-70% highway and the rest 35mph city.

I'm consistently getting 20 mpg in mixed highway/city driving and keeping RPM under 2000. Recently got 15 mpg towing utility trailer loaded with mulch. My truck is just like what you're asking about, 2010 DC 4x4 4.0 automatic. My only disapointment is the body sheet metal is too thin. I've got dings and dents from off-roading in woods where I would have only gotten scratches in my old F-150. I would definetley buy again.

I've never bothered to check the mileage on my 07...I like the truck so I really don't care what mileage I get. I don't drive that much anyway (truck has 14,000 miles on it so far.) The only issue I've had is a burned out tail light bulb.
