I'm tired of the rough country 3in I have on my truck. I just feel bad for my truck, only have had it on for about 5000 miles. I bought and got it installed before I read up about them, and realized it wasn't my smartest move. Ive decided to sell my snowmobile, so if it sells I have 2 grand to put under and in my truck. What would you guys do?
Im thinking of Toytec... I have to drive through rough fields a lot, and occasionally take my truck to the trails

I like my Fox suspension really well, however it depends what you are going to do with the truck and what you want from your suspension

Is there a benefit of OME over a Fox setup?

Depending on your location the fox set up can be prone to corrosion from some things I have seen

    Value and cost.

Other than that, no. But judge your needs with your budget, I wouldn't go from one extreme to another to make up for a poor initial lift choice.

Over compensating the new lift to make up for the old lift, so to speak.

If your needs (or wants) demand a higher dollar coilover setup then go for it, but if you're easily served by a less costly and less maintenance OME setup then by all means, save the cash.

What kind of driving (more specifically off roading) are you going to be doing?

Yes, I live in Iowa, so no deserts around here. From what I read Fox is more suitable for that type of environment. I'm just interested in some weekend wheeling, flexing it out once and a while, but it's a work truck during the week.

Then OME will most likely give you the ride you deserve and you won't ever need anything more... That being said I went fox and now wish I would have saved a little more and just went King...

Just hitting up the trails, flexing it a little, other than that I just want to go through some of our fields without shaking the fillings out of my teeth.

Ya my icons look terrible after a few Canadian winters, still work awesome though. Personally I love the coilovers they're handled the west coast terrain wonderfully

OMEFTMFW do your research though on the springs so that you don't have a super stiff ride up front

Looks to me like I'd go with OME kit, #884 coils, And the Light Racing UCAs. This sounds like a set up TW approves of:thumbsup:

I would go at least 885s with the dakars in the rear.

    I wouldn't.

    He has a 2.7 not a V6.
