    No lift stock tacoma. Heard the biggest tire I can go is a 265/75/16. I want the spacers for a wider meaner look. My question is can I go with a bigger tire with minor trimming or no trimming at all?

    Are you aware of how much extra strain 2" wheel spacers are going to put on your wheel bearings? Quite a bit.

    Yes sir. I've done my homework I need hub centric spacers and don't buy cheap ones. If installed right should have no issues beside changing wheel bearings a lil sooner than normal.

    For sure don't buy cheap ones, that's not a component you can afford to have fail suddenly at speed. Never done it myself & don't plan to, but if I did I would also be checking my lug nut torque every 1000 miles or so.

    Well, actually, I wouldn't feel the need to check it every 1,000 miles for life. I'd use a stepped interval approach, super-paranoid at the start, less paranoid after the new setup has proven itself reliable & not to loosen or show signs of cracking or abnormal wear over time.

    Maybe something like this. Totally arm-chair, not based on science, engineering theory, etc.

    First 1K miles: Check lug nug torque every 250 miles.
    At 1K: Pull off all wheels & inspect spacers, lugs, etc. for signs of stress cracking, bending etc. (I.e. remove wheels / full inspection)
    1K to 3K miles: Check torque every 500 miles.
    3K to 6K miles: Check torque every 1000 miles.
    At 6K: remove wheels / full inspection
    6K to 10K miles: Check torque every 2000 miles.
    At 10K miles: remove wheels / full inspection
    10K to 15K miles: Check torque every 2500 miles
    15K miles: remove wheels / full inspection
    Then settling at a full inspection every 5K miles.

    If the setup makes it to 50K miles with no issues whatsoever - then I'd probably relax into a 10K full-inspection interval thereafter.

    Stock wheels with 2" spacer 265 75 16 on presumably the stock 16x7 +30 wheels on a second gen you will more than likely rub slightly but it should be all plastic. You will need to remove the "flarelettes" by front bumper, slightly trim front bumper, and probably remove your front mud flaps (or just deal with them rubbing and save your paint). You will probably need to just do a minor trim. When I was running 1.75" lift 265 70 r17 and 17x9 -12 wheels, this is all I had to do mind you my wheels technically were out 2.6378" from your stock 16x7 +30

    2" hubcentric with stock wheels you will be fine. I have run 1.25" Spidertrax with 17x9 -12 for most of the life of my truck and just did my first set of Hub assemblies at 90,000 miles having never abused my truck. Hub bearings assemblies are simple on these trucks to change out, and knowing what I know now, are well worth changing much earlier than I did.

    Also for a 2" spacer go with the brand BORA. I run 1.25" Spidertrax on all 4 since I had 600 miles on my truck changing them out at 55,000 miles just simply for peace of mind and cheap insurance

    Looking at Bora and Supreme Suspensions spacers. Both seem to have great reviews.

    Bought the truck used it has aftermarket rims (Eagle) not sure if theres a offset

    I've had the SpiderTrax 1.5 in spacers for a while now on 265/70/17s with no issues. Driven the truck across the country and put around 15-17k miles on it since installing.
