Bilstein 8112/8100, JBA UCAs, Icon RXT leaf pack, work wheels 17x8.5;-10os, 285/75/17 cooper LTX AT3, Mobtown HC rear bumper and Sliders, SSO front bumper, BAMF greceased grill.
CV boots is hardly a problem for a 2” lift, a 2” lift is very safe as what I have and 3” in the rear.

The only problem with lifting is the front diff vibes or you need to add shims in the rear. If you just do the ECGS bearing mod you wont have a problem with vibes. Some people have the problem the moment they lift and some don’t have problems at all.....

Some people add shims in the rear and solved issues, whereas I don’t have any and my truck drives great.

If you wanna lift it, DO IT!! Just have the money saved up if you don’t plan on doing any of the work your self. A lot of it is pretty easy. I would find some local members and have mod days or someone to give you a helping hand for stuff.

    Good luck!

have you considered bilstein 5100’s on the top notch and an AAL. $299 for everything plus install and alignment plus EGCS bushing and you are still around $1000 all in.

Don’t waste your money overbuilding your suspension. 90% on road use right?

(Learning where to place a tire on a trail can go a lot further than a big dollar suspension. It’s pretty fun wheeling into a trail spot and showing up right next to the guy with a built trail rig when your near stock :D .. but that’s just my opinion)

I was doing a bit or research on doing a 2" lift on my truck as well and came across your thread. Any updates on what you decided on?

    I did 5100s front and back $350
    887s springs $180
SPC UCAs $550 (may or may not be necessary but I wanted better alignments)
3leaf progressive AAL with overload left in $175
ECGS bushing as a preventive measure $80
    1/4 driver side spacer $20
Just over 2 inches of lift front and rear to maintain factory rake.

Stayed with a 265/70/17 tire, prefer the handling, weight and tire selection of a 265 vs the looks of a 285 . I spend more time in the truck than looking at the truck.

If a shop will do the install figure roughly 150 -250 per corner and up to 200-300 for the bushing install depending on where you live.

Also will need an alignment 80 -150.

That should give you a pretty good ballpark figure.

Truck looks good man! I’m on the books for a 2” lift with an OLd Man Emu kit next week along with some new Method 305 wheels and 275/70r17 Falken Wildpeaks tires. I’m giddy like a little kid.

Agree with this. Ditch that Toytec Boss system for the 6112’s. Unless you are going to spend more for good coilovers the Toytec stuff isn’t the great for the life the Billy’s will give you
