Wife's Camry was serviced yesterday, and I was looking at the TRD Pro. Geez, $49k!! Sorry, that will never happen.

Whenever you find a good alignment guy, always ask for his name and cell number. Those guys are the best.

I think the best idea is to find a shop that specializes in it. Then you are paying them to align the truck, nothing else.

At a dealer they mostly think you are looking for “Toyota’s blessing”......in other words “all green boxes = all good”. At a tire shop they are just hoping you’ll keep coming back to buy tires, and likely are putting a high school student on the alignment machine. Again “all green boxes = all good / grey boxes = do not or cannot adjust (IE rear thrust angle)”

An alignment shop assumes you are paying them to make the truck drive straight, with a centred steering wheel. They also assume you are not presently happy with the alignment, otherwise you would not have brought them your truck.

    It’s a better scenario.

Mine has the same problem. I put in a Headstrong 2" lift last year when the frame was replaced and it's been aligned twice since then (first by dealer and second time by reputable local tire shop) but the steering wheel is a few degrees off and the tires are cupping badly. The tires are mostly shot (Cooper AT3 with only 24k miles on them) so I'm going to replace them before winter and get it aligned at a local shop that specializes in lift kits.

Yeah I might just bite the bullet and have the guy that did my Subaru alignment/corner balance do the truck. I'd trust that guy with any vehicle he's super skilled at anything relating to suspension/alignment. It'll just cost me a pretty penny and time.

Update: Found a local frame alignment shop that sounds pretty good/ has good reviews online too. Gonna give them a shot to see if he can sort it out.

Sounds like your alignment guy is lazy if the alignment is truly correct. When they adjust tie rods to align the truck it moves the steering wheel.

I have very good luck with Tire Kingdom. I have the 3 year unlimited alignment program and they go out of there way to make sure my alignment is how I want it to be. I always give them the specs I want and they make it happen.

Ok so just took truck to dealership for 15k service and said screw it and had em check and fix alignment. Here’s the results. Steering wheel is now straight while driving and it still pulls slightly to left like a little bit of drift. I ordered a polyurethane 1/4” spacer from Wheeler’s but have yet to install until after I had dealer look.

Should I toss the spacer on the left front and have them make sure it’s all good still? Or should I just leave alone?
