2" Lift Ideas

    I want to do a mild lift on my 2012 Double Cab. Planning on getting the Wheelers single AAL (good for 1.5"). What would be a good match up front? I dont want any bro lean. Was thinking either 5100s @ the middle setting or 5100s with OME 884 springs. Dont want to spend too much.

    Do I even need to replace the shocks at all? Could I keep stock TRD Offroad shocks (front and back) with AAL and just replace the front springs with an OME 884?

    How many miles are on your rig? Best ride for the money would be the 5100s with 884s.

    My Tacoma has 24k Miles.

    Do you know what the height difference would be between OME 884 and OME 885 on 5100s @ the lowest setting (0 lift) on my DoubleCab Shortbed?

    I dont want too extreme of lift mainly because I dont want to buy new UCAs. So I'd rather not go above 2".

    The are both good options. Just preferance. The Eibachs are a 620lb/in and the OME are a 590lb/in.

    So a slightly softer ride with the OME. Thanks. I am been pondering a similar setup. Want the lift without making the truck ride like a brick with wheels.

    I have 885's with 5100's set at 0" lift with the top plate spacers and I got a full 3"s of lift up front and a 2" AAL and it sits level perfectly. You should go with 885's since you have a DC.

    I plan on staying around 2 inch, so hopefully I don't have to buy new UCAs. Plus I don't wheel therefore don't need the clearance.

    There is a ton of info out there about lifts. Search here and also just google it. I like my Ironman lift.

    With the 5100s @ 0 and OME 884 coils, do I need anything else up front? Spacer or trim packer to account for Taco lean?

    Where did you get your Ironman lift and how much lift did you get from it?
