I got an estimate at local 4x4 custom shop for my '99 Taco . Quote was for a 2" lift on front Billstein shocks and reuse my coils and Billstein shocks on rear with a 1" lift to rear that I am told will level out the vehicle . It is 1" lower in front measured at top of wheel well.
    $1400 for parts , labor & including alignment .
Does that sound like a fair price ?
Anything I should enquire about or caution moving forward ?

    4 run, 2 don't
As @02hilux mentioned it's a super simple DIY

With the exception of the coil on shock assembly; I'd just buy a Bilstein coilover (with OME coils) so you can swap them out.

Save a ton of money on labor and just get an alignment once you're done.

I would at minimum ask for an itemized quote. A break down on what exactly they would be installing, prices for each part, price of labor and what level of alignment. Make sure they would be setting caster, camber and toe and guarantee the parts and their work. It could be done a lot cheaper if you or a qualified buddy could do the work then just have a qualified alignment tech do the alignment.
