To me, the street manners are vastly improved. With the Eibach springs the 5100’s are set at the bottom setting. Apparently you can go one notch higher with these springs but then you’re preloading the spring and compromising ride quality.

After settling I am seeing 1.75” of lift, maybe a little more.

Not true, ride is the same on every perch. Ask me how I know, because I have them on two different Tacomas and different settings and the ride is the same. Lots of people think this happens but its incorrect. Do some research as its been explained here several times. Bilstein voids their lifetime warranty when not used with the factory coils.

9D42747D-466A-4E42-91DC-DDF63F5F78D7.jpg 5100s all round. On 4th clip with AAL on back. Anyone remember their stock hub to fender measurements? I only wanted 1 to 1.5 of lift, however, when all was done, seems higher than expected . Ride is great, but the 265/75/16 seems small for the current lift. Thinking of dropping one notch and going with a 1 inch block instead to lower it. Dont want any bigger than 265/75/16 with gutless low end.

I think it looks pretty good. Give it some time, you may like it after awhile.

Yeah that’s what I paid as well… I didn’t read too much into what he paid as it was a “package” deal so who knows!

Regardless, I believe the 2" lift is the best lift! :mudding:

    Ha!

I live in Canada, don’t forget that. It is a better shock than 5100. It’s a bit more expensive but totally worth it. It’s about 800 for 4 5100 shocks.

I paid 1950 for OME shocks, dobinsons leafs and OME springs, not bad at all if you ask me. The cost of OME shocks is maybe 200-300$ more.

UPDATE: So I did have some minor vibrations when slowing down around 30-10 mph. I did not notice it at first.

A 3 degree shim solved all the vibrations, my needle bearings are fine.

This. 1.5” suspension and 0.5” tires. You get the 2” you want, a bit more aggressive tires, and a low cost, reliable setup. Nice looking truck.

I absolutely love my 5100 lift set at 2" (max). 1" rear block and it still rides like stock.

    Best bang for the buck.

    Actually took some measurements.

Im at 39 inches up from and 40 + in the rear. This would actually be inches up from and 4 out back compared to stock height.
