1st problem: my driver side rear door lock wont lock or unlock with the button, i have to do it manually.
2nd problem: the light on the roof in between seats does not work. (interior) like the dome light.

are there any previous threads or helpful insight from anybody thanks!

Take your truck to a mechanic.
A relay is a electrical switch that allows a little current to activates a big current. It sounds more complicated then it is. Use Google and try searching it. I dont know if you truck has 1 for each door lock. If it does you could just switch the 2 to see if that's your problem. Ha e you tried replacing g the battery in your fob ?

So you have power door locks in the cab but no fob ?

Remove the door card and check the contacts on the lock see if they have green fuze on them if they do try cleaning it off. If that doesn't fix it try replacing it. The servo could be toast
