    Two questions:
One- does anyone know if I can get the replacement "stickers" that go on behind the cab? They are stuck to the bed, I believe to protect the paint? Mine are on a white 2011 Tacoma, and look like crap.
Two- I removed my mud flaps today. I think it looks much cleaner, and want to leave them off. However, I started a thread yesterday about the "pitting/chipping" that the mud flaps have created. It was suggested to me to get touch up paint from Toyota. Will the touch up paint help my issue with the pitting and will the paint stick out as bad or worse as just leaving it alone? I really wish I could get some kind of premade stickers that could go on where my mud flaps were to protect the paint/cover the pitting. Thanks a lot!

I would think you could get Toyota replacement panel protection stickers from a dealer.

If you use exact matching paint, it won't look to bad to touch it up. You'll probably notice it up close, but from a few feet no one will see it.

That's the dilemma I'm in now!!! The pitting/chipping is almost invisible if you aren't standing right near the truck. I still may try the touch up paint on a small section and see how it does.

If the chips are that small, then you won't notice the touch up at all.

Yea the pitting spots are small, the main problem is it's a perfectly curved line of them on all 4 sides where the mud flaps were! Would you just dab the holes as best as you can and go from there? Also, I've heard people worry about rusting that is caused from pitting/bare paint, but the fenders are not metal, right?

The fenders are metal, but the fender flares are plastic. I see what you're saying about the curve. I would just dab a little at a time and see how it goes.

The older toyotas use to rust real bad on the fenders. Toyota started using that clear film to help with that. The sheet metal on the body isn't so much of an issue nowadays like it use to be. The frames are still worrisome on certain years.

Thanks moon death for the help! Yea, it's on the fender flare so I shouldn't have to worry about rusting. I'm going to buy some touch up paint and try a small area and see how it does. Thanks again!
