I'm new, first post, my apologies if I'm doing this wrong.

    bumper.jpg

I recently installed the Body Armor 4x4 Hiline bumper on my 2018 TRD Pro. It looks sexy, I'm pumped, and I want to add an amber light bar in the 20" opening made for it. Baja Designs S8 20" Amber light bar is the perfect fit on the bumper, but not on my wallet. I've searched, but I don't know enough about this type of thing to know if what I'm looking at is worth it or not.

So...I'm interested in your recommendations on a good quality 20" amber light bar option that is similar to the S8, but priced in the less-than-$300 range.

    S8 bar for reference:

    Any recommendations are appreciated!

A more budget conscious option that is still high quality is the Diode Dynamics lightbar. I don't have any first hand experience with the lightbar, although i run their SS3 fogs and they're probably some of the best on the market both in terms of quality for the price. They're have an 18" option which is slightly shorter, not sure if that would make it too much trickier to mount.

What’s the reason you want a full amber light? Never understood this color choice for a light bar. Fogs or pods I get it. But for a light bar I want as much visibility as possible. White does a better job of that in clear conditions which is much more likely to be encountered.

I want something substantial for poor visibility. Everything else i’ll have on it is going to be clear, so i’ll be plenty covered there. Plus, I think it looks cool.

I haven’t seen those Heretics, those are nice. Just added some cali raised ditch light on the truck today. If their 20” light bar came in an amber option, that would be nice.

I second DD. Personally, I think they are a better product anyways. I wouldnt hesitate to get one of their light bars if I was in the market. Their stuff is USA made too, so that's a huge plus.

Has anyone tried the slim 20 inch extreme led bar? I'm thinking about getting it. One cool feature is the outer floods are amber and the center is white. But you can buy the lenses separately and change them out. Plus it has a remote option. With the remote it's only $208.

Steer clear of Cali raised trash. Save your money and buy a Baja designs on6x 20inch it's what I had in that exact same bumper. Has a high and low setting very bright . You could always go DD as well great brand and quality.
