Well when people don’t say anything it’s going to just keep happening . Maybe they will package them better if they have to replace them all the time

So, you ordered/received them from GA?

I just saw your post of damaged/chipped plastic that you had to glue together?

How was the single box packaged? Do you have pics of the package as received and as opened?

When I ordered mine from Sparks Parts Toyota, both arrived on the same day. I'm wondering why yours did not.

Check the shipping label and see if they came from the same location. (when the 2nd one arrives)

Call customer service as soon as you can...even before the second parcel arrives. If you can get tracking for the other one, that would be ideal.

You should be able to start the process of getting a replacement headlight. Hopefully, the next one does not have any damage and all they need to do is replace the first one.

When you say customer service you mean the dealer or Toyota ? The dealer when I called said they don’t deal with the parts that it’s drop shipped from a Toyota warehouse

I've been there.

I'd notify the dealer so they can get the exchange process going. I'm sure they'll just blame the shipping carrier and bill them for it. Pretty common issue no matter who where you order from as the oem packaging blows. The dealer I ordered from was nice enough to inspect and then bubble wrap the replacement set.

It has happened to me before when one of two packages arrive on different days. And now with the holiday weekend I’ll have to wait until Tuesday for the other headlight. I already have tracking for it btw.

Arrived in a normal cardboard box and inside the only thing protecting it is another piece of rectangular cardboard and a very thin piece of protectant padding. It’s no wonder they always end up arriving damaged. It’s a heavy headlight.

I emailed them but will have to follow up tomorrow. Not sure if they’re open though.

 

I really hope they’d take the extra time to package a very expensive headlight better. We shall see. And yes, the oem packaging is garbage.

 

I posted pics of delivery from Sparks Parts. Not to put you off on your experience, I was fortunate to receive mine in good condition and BOTH delivered on the same day.

It will take a bit of effort but here's to a successful replacement process for you.

Anyone else receive their headlights?

And what kind of condition were they in

 

Ugghh..so mad i missed the sale. I'm looking to get some oem led trd headlights.

 

They're running a 10% sale right now on all parts. Ends tonight.

 

Any reason to keep the factory skids if replaced with a TRD one? Replaced mine on this sale and may toss my originals rather than add to the garage pile of cast-offs.

 

I kept factory skid in the box the TRD Skid plate came in and also have the Air Dam stored in my storage shed.

Same here. Order placed on the 15th. Second email received on the 17th but no shipping notification so far.
