I’m digging those. I’ll find them and include them in future shipments.

@FreshMexicanTaco I showed a coworker the DMM and he thought it was a factory option. Because of how clean and well fitted your mount is

@FreshMexicanTaco Might have missed it, but what's the bolt thread size? Looking for a new extended bolt to mount a cell phone mount and need to find out what size/thread bolt to pick up. Thanks!

    Thanks!
    Looking GOOD!!
The more holes to fill the better it looks!

Awesome, glad to have contributed to an allready great product.

Ball mount screws are 10-32 threads.

Has anyone mounted a remote head control for ham radio with this solution? Where are you running the wire to the remote head, or how are you running the wire?

@SigBoy I was able to use the DMM successfully to mount my TM-V71 head unit and GPS that I use for APRS. I ran the wires through the holes of the DMM and into the dash. This required stripping and soldering the wires which was a little tricky because Kenwood uses the shield of the wire for ground which I wasn't expecting.

Please feel free to ask any questions that you might have about this.

I just installed mine last Saturday. Definitely the best phone mount out there. And it looks like factory option. :D

They usually take no more than 5 business days to deliver, depending on location, the closer you are to the west coast the faster it is.

That was one of my main concerns when creating this, I wanted everything to look as clean as possible I'm glad you guys liked that too.

Hey man the DMM uses 10-32 screws for everything, it is a fine thread which enables a strong grip even in the thin layer of metal that the DMM has.

    Thank you!
I just created all the labels you should have received notification emails including tracking info, more than likely your order will ship tomorrow, if I don't get to it Wednesday at the latest.

Could one just run a short cat-5 network patch cable in place of cutting and splicing the cable? I think the Kenwood cable may be non twisted pairs but it has the same number of conductors, and a short section of twisted pair seems like it shouldn't be an issue.

I may have come up with a solution to routing power, 12v Buck converter with a 20amp adjustable voltage output. feeding a 1x8 power distribution strip

hook all this up behind the dash, feed all your cords down behind the dash, trim off the USB A end and hardwire to the terminal strip.

each of the cords can be trimmed to length to keep everything routed clean and neat.

That's pretty cool @Pyrotech. Do you by any chance have a photo of how it all looks wired up for reference?

On the clueless curiosity side (I might be asking stupid questions?), how would something like that work with smart charging? Does cutting the USB A end off change that? I'm an Android person, but I know that a lot of iOS folks struggle with chips in cables or at least MFI crap.

Just curious since it appears to be a slick solution.
