    I've seen it on a few cars here in CA. Not legal at all, but like what was said before, it's only a $10 fix-it ticket - it's like a game to see how long you can last with tinted windows. lol

    yes it is true my windshield is tinted top to bottom legal no ,safe yes, it cuts the road glare of water on the road , rain,head lights , sunlight and also helps with the strain on your eyes

    around where in live in south Florida every car or truck i have owned i have tinted all my windows dark and the full wind shield and have yet to have a problem most of the cops i know have there cars done the same "the patrol cars and personal " and yes i have taking my truck out of state with it done and yet to get harassed just drove thru Florida,Alabama,Tennessee,Kentucky,Ohio,Georgia on a trip about a month ago with no problems

    i'll never drive to cali so i should have nothing to worry about the only car i have ever had a problem with the police while driving was an 88 chevy caprice on 22's " not my car i was driving it for a friend "

    visibility is perfect , night driving with the tint is great cuts the glare from hid head lights ,wet roads anything light can reflect off of

    my old s-10 that was slammed was 5% all the way around and 15% on the windshield and i loved it

    K & N airfilter, custom built 10" sub boxes, pioneer head, mag-lite mod, Blue LED dash lights, custom painted engine cover, mud flap removal mod, alarm/remote start installed,
    had 5% all around minus the windshield on my ranger and you couldnt even tell if someone was in the truck. plan on getting the back half of my DC blacked out (5%) not sure on the front though. got a ticket in the ranger, cost me $275 for "illegal" tint. not sure if i wanna go that route again. wifey would kick my butt.

    my s-10 with the tint i never had a problem with it being slammed "5/7" drop on 17x8 front 17x9.5 rears, fulled shaved but as soon a s i bagged it and put 20's on all 4 corners i got pulled by a rookie cop drivng to the stop light less then a block from my house but once his co came up to the call he could told to drop it and leave me alone

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    to the OP, 35% is also the darkest u can legally go in NC...so might wanna keep that in mind. once it warms up, i've got 35% to do on mine

    here is the factory tint on the front, im not sure what percent it is and I have like 2 1/2% on the rear.

    Ok guys, I made the deal today! I am getting my front 2 windows tinted for $60!(The guy usually charges $80 but he cut me a deal since I know him!) He said it would take about an hour and he is doing it this Thursday! Im worried how the cold will effect how it sticks, but I guess he knows what he is doing, I mean he is the number one tint shop in the area. Now I just got to decide what type of black tint and whether I want 32% or 35%. 32 is the lowest you can go in nc
