    Hello group,
I just had the engines rear main seal replaced by a Toyota dealership on my '08 4.0 DCSB PreRunner.

    My set up:
4"'s of lift (2" steel tapered block, 2" springs) & 4" Spindles up front. I also have a 3/4 driveshaft spacer.

My complete driveshaft is less than 1 year old. OEM.

My truck always had a take-off shudder which was minimal. Now, after the Toyota dealership replaced my rear main seal the shudder is gone BUT I have shuddering from 20 to 35 mph which is worse.

They said that maybe they didn't align the driveshaft. I took it back to them and they turned it 180 degrees. It still feels the same. They said that the computer may need to relearn the shift points since they disconnected the battery. I disagree.

Any ideas? I have no CB drop. Would that help?

    Thanks

I am assuming they had the transmission out to replace the rear main seal . Did they forget to re-fill the transmission with fluid ?
Are you sure they put all your necessary shims back in the drive line ?

Correct and according to them everything you mentioned is fine.

I just finished installing a Toytec CB drop that I had and it improved greatly.

INCREDIBLE AND WIERD. Now, heres the kicker. I steipped the thread on yhe part that the CB bolts to.

Off to Home Depot. The bolts I used are long enough so rhat I can put a nut at the end. I set my torque wrench to 30 ft lbs and it never made it.
