    Hi all

I'm from Australia currently in the states, and back home have a new Toyota hilux which is very similar to the tacoma

I'm currently over here for a holiday and going to sema show for business, however I need some assistance in purchasing some wheels

I'm looking kmc xd wheels Xd778 monster wheels in 20x10 or I'm hoping they come in 20x9 they are neg -12 offset and I think 4.5" back spacing

Now I'm asking if anyone has had experience fitting 20" wheels and what offset what back spacing and and width they would recommended.

I'm going to fit a 2-3" billestein lift and either going to run 32 or 33 tires but that's where I'm also stuck any help much appreciated

    Cheers

    James

Fittment has absolutely nothing to do with wheel diameter. It has everything do with tire size. So whatever backspacing is needed to fit 32s on your hilux with 16" or 17" wheels, is the same backspacing you need to fit 32s on 20s.

What width tires do you want to run?

The 20 x 9 , -12 offset will sit 0.75" further from the ucas, and will stick out 2.75" further than stock.

I can't speak for hilux's specifically, but to run 12.5's on a Tacoma, you need a 3" lift, wheels with 4.5" backspacing, and to trim your fender well plastic and chop your cab mounts.

You may new new ucas to get your alignment right if you lift it 3". And you'll have to trim even if just staying on road.

I just put 275/60s and 20x9 -12 offset on my Tacoma

Had to chop the right cab mount. Trim some plastic

For the left I had to trim some plastic. I may chop the left cab mount just a hair for more clearance
