Rust! My sworn enemy! My truck is beginning to rust in the same place as yours did.. Drivers side rear

 

288K here on my 1st gen DCSB, not sure how long supercharged, but definitely over 150K miles. Runs amazing. Did have to do a lot of front end work recently, I assume from previous owners off roading and the heavy front bumper!

 

Mine is at 228000 and 10000 miles ago I put a turbo on it. It running strong !! And I’m the original owner. I’ve replaced front end ball joints etc.... and regular maintenance.

 

How much did the turbo setup cost all together, do you still have acc., and did you find a huge hp increase?

 

It cost roughly $2500 and if you mean A/C yes and I will be putting fuel management in soon which will get everything working well. Most likely around 100 increase at 10psi

 

Your right, Great truck, pretty sure I'll never buy another car. I've had mine since 2006 2004 sr5 v6 4 door 114k Been great no problems except for fuel air sensors. change the oil & filter very 3k. ( oils cheap )
I've haven't changed fuel filter yet. Any thoughts when it should get changed.

 

I did mine late at 225000 miles or so but I think its 150000 miles.

198,000 miles on this 2001 , I had a 2000 that had 225 ,000 It got stolen , The one before these 2 was a 98 that I put 300,000 on it before I sold it for $4k , 1st gen you can’t go wrong , 4cyl or 6 cyl I like the 6 cyl alot better though….

What mileage do recommend changing spark plug and what kind.

 

305,000 on my 98. The only thing on this truck that shows it's age is the lack of padding in the driver's seat!

 

240k here. Only thing I've had to replace outside of normal services or things I broke offroad was the radiator around 215k because it got a crack

 

Just changed my spark plugs at 231,000 miles. Turns out it was the original set. They were a little toasty.
I bought the truck at 145,000 and assumed the previous owner did the last set at 100,000. Guess not.
