    Very nice!

I just picked up this 03 from the original owner with 301k miles, on the original clutch. Still grabs and shifts fantastic.

Thanks for the compliment - I bought it new on March 27, 2004. Put 120k on it and then sold it to my brother. He put 110k on it and decided he wanted to go to the dark side and get an F150. I bought it back in Sept 2017 and have had it ever since.

B106BF24-74C6-4BE4-82D0-3526B5ABF61D.jpg 3.4, 1999 Tacoma, just rolled over 200,400! Only major repairs were the radiator at 190,000, shocks at 160,000, and CV axels 200,000. Other than that just general maintenance.

20221211_145647.jpg2003 239k 3rd owner, truck has spent its entire life in interior AK. Many years of harsh winters...commonly -30 but as low as -50. That said we've all been spoiled up here this season...i think maybe 2 weeks below 0?

Thanks! No frame issues ive discovered yet anyway....besides some normal surface rust. I took a poker and hammer to it before i bought it and couldnt find any soft spots.. luckily they dont salt the roads much here in the interior.

I have a 99’ with almost 357k on it. Drive it daily, just had to replace the OEM plugs and wires. (To my knowledge they were the original ones). Runs like a top!

My 2004 has 250k. Its had Mobile 1 5W-30 since its 1st oil change and changed on a strict schedule ever since. The main thing is if you can find one that has had regular maintenance since new and well cared for. I talked to a guy at a gas station recently that had a 2001 with a million miles - yes a million - he got 800k on the original 3.4 and then replaced it with a Jasper reman engine. The transmission was replaced with a Jasper a couple times then last and current trans was a Toyota factory remanf unit The big thing is check the frame to make sure its solid.

My dads 04 has 275k and he’s just had regular maintenance. He works the hell out of his truck but it does the job. He bought it with 150k on it. First gens are amazing.

approx 265k, 2.4l, auto, bought 2 years ago with #1 dead, burnt valve, drove it back home on 3 cylinders about 200 miles. Did a valve job, changed oil/coolant, replaced plugs and wires while I was at it. Truck runs great and drives like a new one. Really. Only complaint is a bit of uneven idling but it's barely noticeable. Like someone said previously, it's all about the person who last owned the truck but they are definitely capable of going the distance for you.

Mostly stock - but I do have a suction cup phone holder - its pretty sweet
Sitting at 199,701 - and I am excited to join this club soon. I ‘should’ be taking a road trip from Chicago to Texas and back in March - and then hoping for a Chicago to Central California coast in June. That will definitely do it!!
