    2005 4d 4wd 4l 234k and going… 2nd owner bought with 130k in 2016 from an old lady.

it’s been a great truck- no major issues things I’ve replaced: water pump and radiator (230k) due to coolant leak, a starter, a CV seal and axle, a steering rack and pinion (212k) I also treated my own frame for rust, it wasn’t terrible but I live in the mountains on the west coast and wanted to stay ahead of it pic attached. Fluids and plugs changed at standard intervals. Some of these repairs were proactive not really necessary - rack and pinion barely had a leak, cv axle and seal barely had a leak so I changed them

I am doing a head gasket currently but other than that, the truck has been extremely dependable and I plan on keeping it forever

I've been waiting forever to finally get here, and I made it. Just routine maintenance and two suspension swaps. I think it's finally broken in. I was going to trade it in for the 2024 model but decided to keep it because of the insane price and the fact that it's a 4-cylinder. It's a 2014 TRD Sport, bought brand new.

Awesome. I’ll be there soon. This thread makes me want to find another low mileage 2nd Gen. they have got to be one of the most reliable vehicles ever made.

Just turned over 200K on my 09 this past week. Still pretty solid overall, a few things I should take a closer look at so I can replace before failure. Having spent almost its entire life in the southwest the paint is toast. If I keep ahold of it and make sure it’s completely solid mechanical I might think about either having it painted, or more likely Line-x over the entire body.

Keep your truck man. I've heard some serious issues with the brand new trucks. And I am not a fan of the 3rd gen trucks. Their may be some that have heard my opinion on the 3rd gen truck. You've got the face-lift 2nd gen and super late year. And with the 1GR. Best of all, the 13, 14, and 15 trucks are the best you can get your hands on. Mines got 220k and running strong as ever.

I got an email today saying it takes a couple of weeks for them to send out the sticker due to Number Of Requests.
