I am a new member with an odd request. SR-5 owners only need to read this!
I have recently replaced the bench seat in my 2000 Tacoma standard cab with used buckets seats. Info on this site about the swap made it an easy job!
In my search for a new or used console to go between the seats I have tried to find a part number for the console. The parts guys at my nearest dealer tell me they need a VIN for a truck that has the console and of course I don't have one because my truck originally had the bench seat. Catch-22!
Is anyone out there with a 2000 Tacoma SR-5 willing to share your VIN so I can learn what the part number is?

I think your dealer is nuts. My dealer looked up my console for my 2004 without a VIN.

Look at this link, I assumed you had an automatic. You can change it to manual, if needed. This is the console. You still need the part that goes around the shifter (auto or manual).

This is a start at least. Sorry don't have a 2000.

Thanks for the input. Like you I couldn't understand why they didn't have some work-around.

Don't get a 98-00 console to put in between your seats.

    Get an 01-04.

    You'll thank me later.

    You're welcome.
