So after sitting for a number of years as the frame started to rust, I pondered restoring my beloved 2000 Tacoma i had since 2001. I have owned 2 tacomas since, a second gen, and a 3rd gen, but did not like either as much as the first gen. So i decided to sell the 2023, and get back into a fullsize , and begin a resurrection on the 2000.

So I started by ripping the old box off, and ordering some safe-t caps for the frame, a carpet kit and headliner, and some interior stuff to tinker with as I adressed the rear end, and frame20240602_142159.jpg 20240603_205011.jpg 20240605_084049.jpg 20240605_162102.jpg 20240702_193343.jpg

After a tonne of needle scaling grinding, and dealing with seized up bolts, it was time to patch up the frame. I went with new rear suspension, and deleted the LSPV, and installes a manual one, rebuilt my brakes, and resealed/bearinged my rear end. The box was in poor shape when i took it off so i decided to build a flatdeck for it, and in my research, the one that really caught my eye was Austin Neimela's. So i was going to build an iteration of his. The truck had a 3' body lift when i bought it, and was looking for a good winch bumper that worked with the 3" body lift and Coastal offroad fit the bill

Bought a winch and some offroad lights as the bumper/flatbed build progressed, and fabbed up some home made rock sliders

All put back together, wired her all up. Very happy with the outcome. Need a new set of tires on her, and we will be back on /off the road!

    The truck looks great.
How do you like the raptor liner?
I'm thinking about using it on mine.
I've been reading up on it and watching all the YouTube videos I can find on it.
Can I get a few details on it?
What did you use yo spray it?
    Did you tint it?
    And splotches/streaks in it?
    Thanks

So far so good, it has only been a week since I sprayed it. No streaking at all, coverage is good, application was easier than expected. Used a schutz gun @ 60PSI
