I have a 2003 2.7 4X4 5 speed. I swapped the 60/40 split bench for some buckets and have had my eyes open for a console. Found one a 100 miles away from a 2000. The question is will it fit?

It might but do you really want square cup holders?

It will fit but you need to make sure the 2000 console comes with the 2000 mounting bracket on the bottom, otherwise you won't be able to mount it.

As the other guy said, the cup holders in a 2000 console are a joke.

For $100 I can live with square cupholders!

No no no, the 95-97 cupholders are the real joke. Flimsy as hell and drip condensation down onto your shift boot while simultaneously blocking you from seeing your climate controls.

You don’t want the 95-00 center console. I’d keep looking for an 01-04 one. The former is nearly useless.

Toytec coilovers. Height adjustable Bilstein's. 265/75/16 MT. TRD wheels. Rebuilt r150f. Marlin clutch kit. All kinds of new parts...
Subaru had the same stupid idea. My 99 outback has those stupid cup holders. I ended up mounting one to the side of the trans tunnel on the passenger side. Now the old cup holder is just a conversation piece. lol

Well, at least it holds the liquid. It could be worse and slowly leak down underneath the console.

But what if my passenger wants a different drink than me?

I keep the tater tots in the ash tray, extra flavor and they stay warm.
