Hey there Tacoma world! I’m new to the Tacomas I usually runs super duty diesels so I’m not super well versed in these things but I’ve got a 2000 Tacoma with the 3.4.
Bought the truck thinking the motor was good and just had to redo the frame. Did the frame and started driving it only to find out the cam bearings were shot so I did a motor swap from a donor 4 runner and the thing has been running great no issues for a couple months but started it one morning and it had a stutter after idling normal for the first few minutes under load the truck shakes and at higher rpm’s it’s hardly noticeable.
Truck ran great the whole day before.

I’ve got codes P0303 cylinder 3 misfire P0304 cylinder 4 misfire P0141 oxygen sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2

surely the sensor going bad wouldn’t cause this? I went through the engine when it was out and replaced every seal inspected everything water pump, timing belt everything with all OEM Toyota parts.

trying to figure out why it would do this all the sudden overnight. I get back from work in a week and plan on swapping plugs and plug wires/coil packs since I have a spare set from the other motor. Just trying to get some other ideas to try if that doesn’t work any one else have an idea of what might be going on?

I’m trying to get a video uploaded of what it sounds like running

New OEM/Denso 02 sensors wouldn't be a bad idea. It's a good first start, plus you have a code for 02 sensor issue. I'd start there.

It won't likely fix your issue. In my opinion 02 sensors are a wearable item and not a bad idea to replace every 10 years.

Yeah was planning on swapping those out too even if it doesn’t fix it not a bad idea to know they’re new.

Could be worth ruling out the IAC valve. Timmy the Toolman has a YouTube video on how to test it and then clean it.

Outside of that, I'd consider running a compression check. May have low compression due to a valve clearance being out of spec. They're supposed to be checked and adjusted every 60k miles, nobody ever does that
