    Hello

I just changed my spark plugs today and the #1 cylinder coil is not getting spark after I finished. I tested the coil and its good I also tested it with the old wire and the wire is good. I also checked out the connector and it seems good. Is there a fuse or relay I need to change. It seems like if so none of the coils would have spark.

    I appreciate any tips

Did you touch the ground wire attached to the intake near the oil fill cap?

Do you mean when I was checking the coil for spark? I checked the other coils and they were getting spark

I meant during the spark plug replacement. Some people (including myself) remove the 10mm ground next to the oil filler neck. Just making sure you checked it.

Obviously something occurred during the replacement and backtracking is the only answer.

You didnt state, did you swap the coil packs and still no spark from #1?

Bishop, I did not remove the 10 mm ground, I am an apprentice mechanic at best.

Are you saying I should remove it just to make sure its getting good ground?

Yah I hope I did not mess something up, I am in Denver Colorado and supposed to head to New Mexico tomorrow morning then Arizona Tuesday Morning.

    I appreciate the help man

Bishop, I did swap the coil packs and still no spark from #1, I also tried it with one of the old wires to make sure the new wire was not bad, I also took a close look at the pig tail connector and it looked good too20180211_183022.jpg 20180211_185827.jpg

James, thank you for clarifying I apologize for not explaining it clearly. So I basically disconnected the wire from cylinder 4 and was testing it that way for spark. I figured that if #4 was not getting spark the coil pack on #1 was not getting spark either. I went through checked the wires and connections to the coils ect,

Yes from what I could tell #1 and #4 no spark , 3&6 and 5&2 are getting spark and i swapped the coils and wires so its not the coil or wire. i guess the next step is to check if I am getting any power to the wire that connects to the coil eh? I was going to replace the pig tail connector and I took it apart and it looked ok. So not sure, it seems like if a relay or fuse was bad none of the coils would be getting spark.
